Welcoming New Faculty for the 2026–2027 School Year

As Providence Country Day continues to grow, we're excited to welcome an exceptional group of new faculty members to campus. Meet the educators joining our community this year and discover the knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication they'll bring to the PCD experience.
Kate Argueta, 3rd Grade Teacher Kate comes to us from St. Michael’s Country Day School, where she taught third grade and coached cross country. She previously taught at Hillside School in Marlborough, MA and Nativity Preparatory School New Bedford. Kate earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and a Masters of Education, Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University.
 
Gianna Castigliego, Kindergarten Associate Teacher Gianna has interned in the Lower School at PCD for the past two years and graduated in May from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies. She previously worked at a local preschool with toddler and pre-k students and is thrilled to be working with her mom, PCD nurse Lisa-Mae Costa.
 
Ryan Conlin, 4th Grade Teacher Ryan most recently worked as first grade teacher at the Croft School. Prior to that, he taught at Blackstone Valley Prep Elementary School and served as a mentor in the Providence Public Schools’ Inspiring Minds Program. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Massachusetts College of Art & Design and a Masters of Teaching, Elementary Education from Rhode Island College.

Ryan Kennedy, 5th Grade Teacher Ryan comes to us from the Croft School, where he taught second grade for the last two years. He also previously was an associate teacher and coach at the Grace Church School in New York City. Ryan earned a Bachelor's Degree from Swarthmore College and is currently working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching at Rhode Island College.

Allyson Tierney, 2nd Grade Teacher Allyson comes to us from Bates Elementary School in Wellesley, MA, where she most recently worked as a substitute teacher and a multilingual learner tutor. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Roger Williams University and is in the final month of completing her Master of Education in Literacy and Language from Framingham State University.

Michelle Turner, School Counselor Michelle joins PCD with five years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor. In her first position she worked with individuals ages 3-65 in a group private practice in North Carolina. After moving to Rhode Island three years ago, she has been working at Butler Hospital with individuals 18+ for a wide variety of mental health concerns. Michelle earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. She is thrilled to join her husband, Upper School teacher Nick Turner, at PCD.
 
Brynn Wilbur, 1st Grade Teacher Brynn is returning to PCD, where she completed her practicum teaching program during the 2023-2024 school year. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Rhode Island and has most recently worked as a fifth grade long-term substitute at Cumberland Hill Elementary School. 

Zane Wilkinson, Middle School Dean of Students and Teacher Zane comes to us from the Croft School, where he was a Middle School math and science teacher for the past two years. He’s previously taught at Blackstone Valley Preparatory Academy and Segue Institute For Learning. Zane earned a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University.

We also have three staff members who are taking on new roles this year. 
 
Kate Fitterling is moving from Kindergarten associate teacher to the lead Kindergarten teacher. Prior to joining PCD last fall, Kate worked in several elementary schools including as a Pre-Kindergarten Instructional Aide at Mildred H. Aitken School in Seekonk. She earned a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island. 
 
Olivia LeBeau ’21 will be taking over as Director of the Explorations program and serve as classroom support and substitute teacher during the school day. She recently earned her B.A. from Rhode Island College and is thrilled to be joining the PCD community with her mom, Chef Sharon LeBeau!
 
Michael Vieira has taken on the position of Facilities Manager after being a member of the maintenance and facilities team since 2023.
