Introductions & Family Association Board

● Jessica (PCD Family Association President) opened the meeting at 8:15 AM.

● The new Family Association Board was introduced:

○ Jessica Uihlein – President

○ Trisha Klausen – Vice President

○ Heather Monoson – Treasurer

○ Amanda King – Secretary

Speaker Summaries

1. Jessica Uihlein (Family Association President)

● Welcomed everyone to the first Family Association meeting of the school year.

● Expressed gratitude for the success of the Back-to-School Barbecue.

● Welcomed the new administration, returning families, and new parents.

2. Kevin Folan (Head of School)

● Facilitated introductions among attending faculty, staff, and parents.

● Highlighted the role of monthly meetings in deepening the school-home partnership.

● Expressed appreciation for the Back-to-School Barbecue and the "Night Tonight" event at Crestwood Country Club.

● Upcoming Events Announced:

○ Parents' Nights: Three consecutive Thursday evenings starting with Lower School, followed by Middle and Upper Schools.

○ Downtown 5K (Sunday): PCD is a lead sponsor; encouraged running, youth event participation, or volunteering.

○ Ribbon Cutting for New Art Center: Friday, September 18 at 11:00 AM.

○ Chowder Day: Saturday, October 17; includes athletic competitions, clam chowder, face painting, and the Alumni Art Show.
