Student Musician Performs in Senior All-State Orchestra
A talented Providence Country Day student recently earned statewide recognition for their musical achievement, performing first violin in the prestigious Senior All-State Orchestra earlier this month. Robert P. '26 joined top high school musicians from across Rhode Island for the performance.
Selection to the Senior All-State Orchestra is a significant honor, reflecting both technical skill and musical dedication. Students are chosen through a competitive audition process, making this accomplishment especially noteworthy. This was Robert's third year performing in an All-State group.
Robert has been an active member of the school’s music program, performing with both the Upper School Band and the String Ensemble, demonstrating commitment to his craft and a passion for performance. Their participation highlights not only individual excellence but also the strength of the arts at Providence Country Day.
“I really love being part of an orchestra," said Robert. "I love how all the different sounds come together and how it really brings the music to life."
The concert brought together outstanding young musicians from across the state, celebrating their hard work and artistry in a culminating performance.
