Only students in grades 8-12 are required to attend. This is a special occasion dress event. The awards ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. and usually lasts one hour.  Eighth graders will have their class trip in the afternoon on this day. Grades 5-7 are not required to attend school on this day. Parents of 8th grade students receiving awards will be notified in advance, so they can plan to attend the awards ceremony.

This ceremony celebrates the 8th graders moving up to High School. All Middle School students (grades 5-8) attend. Families and guests of 8th graders are invited to attend the ceremony. Special occasion dress is required. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and usually lasts one hour. Eighth grade students should arrive in Metcalf by 9:30 a.m. and students in grades 5-7 should arrive by 10:00 a.m. All students are dismissed at the conclusion of the ceremony.

All Middle School and Upper School students (grades 5-12) attend. Families and guests of seniors are invited to attend. Special occasion dress is required. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs approximately two hours. All Middle School students should arrive in Metcalf by 9:45 a.m. All students are dismissed at the conclusion of the ceremony. Summer vacation begins!
