Providence Country Day School, an independent school serving students in grades PK-12, seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic full-time Upper School visual art instructor to cover a long-term leave. The position would begin in time to participate in opening faculty meetings starting August 25th and would extend through the end of the first trimester on Friday, November 21st. We are seeking candidates with specific experience and expertise in 2D arts, and additional experience in digital arts and/or photography would be a plus.

This teacher should plan to be part of a collaborative visual and performing arts team; and an integral component of students’ lives, in the classroom and as a department member. The position may also include advising responsibilities in addition to teaching.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher).
