Morning Bus Driver

Providence Country Day School is seeking an experienced part-time bus driver for our Morning Bus Route to/from Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Duties include:

 - Driving a small 14 passenger bus from East Providence. Each run is approximately 2 hours.

 - Picks up and discharges students at authorized school and bus stop locations.

 - Maintains the overall cleanliness of the bus, and re-fills the bus with gas when needed on the school gas card.

 - Establishes a progressive discipline and reward plan that is consistent with the school disciplinary objectives.

 - Reports any or all defects and failures of the bus to the Director of Facilities in a timely manner

 - Reports any accidents to the Director of Facilities and Director of Finance and Operations in a timely manner.

 - Completes personal timecard and required reports, including reports required in the event of an accident or incident aboard the school bus.

 - The candidate must have a clean driver's record and be at least 25 years of age.

 - This position requires a background check.

 - This is a school-year position for five days a week.

 - Additional hours may be available for field trips and school sports.
