PCD Welcomes Three New Trustees

PCD is thrilled to welcome three new members to our Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees, made up of PCD and HBS alumni, current parents and alumni parents, is tasked with the responsibility of providing strategic guidance to PCD’s school administration and serves as the school’s greatest champions and cheerleaders. We are so very fortunate to have these new representatives joining our Board for this school year.
Jeff Colby, Current Parent Jeff is a parent of a current student (Class of 2025). While still a college student, he began working at his family’s engineering and manufacturing business, Magnetic Seals Corp., in Warren, RI. He continued working there after earning his BA in Music from Amherst College, eventually becoming a co-owner with his brother. Jeff recently retired from the business, and hopes to use his time on the Board of Trustees to further his commitment to music and the arts.

Peter Crump, Current Parent Peter is a parent of both a recent PCD graduate and a current student (Class of 2028). He holds a BFA from Parson School of Design (Paris). In 2004, Peter founded Site Specific, a general contracting company in Providence, and currently oversees the company’s development, growth and strategic planning.  He also serves on the Board of Directors at the Providence Children's Film Festival (PCFF) and at the Providence Foundation. Since moving to Providence in 2005 Peter has been involved with the Providence Parks helping to design, develop and build playgrounds to get kids outside. He lives in Rumford with his wife and three children.

Latha Youngren ’97 Latha graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University with a degree in history in 2001. She spent the first half of her career working in marketing for a variety of outlets in the publishing industry. In 2014, she joined Tripleseat, an event management software for the hospitality industry, and is currently their Chief Marketing Officer. Latha is married to a PCD alum, Soren Youngren '97. Her brother, Nicolas Heyman ’92, also attended HBS.

We welcome all three new trustees and look forward to working together over the coming months!
