JV Girls Volleyball Team is Athlete of the Week

The JV Volleyball team has met with success in this hard-earned championship season. The team finished the regular season with a league-best 11-2 record, including a big win against division 3 opponent Tolman High School. The team captains really stepped up and helped lead their team to victory.
 
In the JV state tournament, the Knights a #2 seed and ultimately won in a tough championship match-up against Davies, where they swept them two sets out of three to capture PCD's first-ever jv volleyball state championship. The MVP of the tournament was Lexi Eno, who led the team in Kills, Aces, and Blocks. Along with Eno, Kelsey Blecker and Alma Crump earned all-tournament team honors.
  
When asked about his teams performance, Coach Thomas was all smiles. "I'm just so happy for the girls; it's been a long season, and we accomplished our goal this season of winning a championship. Winning a championship helps strengthen a team's confidence, friendships, and overall continuity."
