Introductions around the room occurred
Norma Barsom (mother of Elias Morcos ’27) will head the teacher appreciation May 8-12^th week! Thank you, Norma. We have 3 other volunteers and if you are interested, please reach out to Melissa Carden- will connect you with Norma
Please come forward if you have any ideas moving forward, parent association can be viewed as a group to bring things up and look for solution
Facebook- please friend Melissa Carden and she will add you to the Parent Association sight
Next PCD Parent Association meeting is in the evening!!!!
- March 7^th 7pm Chace Hall (if location changes, we will let people know), first evening. We will have DEI speaker- TBD, hoping for a larger “turnout”
Weekly emails- idea came up to move to Friday. After an informal poll; emails will remain Sunday nights
Jen Treasurer has brought forward next year moving PCD PA meetings later in the months so we can capture financials as they are reported out mid-month.

Thank you to Crystal Shillan- Choir performed National Anthem at URI game and it was a great night for the community.
Middle school drop and read- fantastic success, dynamic program, nice way to head into winter break
Holiday Tea- so special, thank you to all involved. (Room clapped and cheered)
Hot Club, nice turn out- Special thank you to Sarah and Evan for hosting!
Dec 21, we had over 100 participants to the alumni games!
Robotics team up and running in Upper School, recently placed well
Middle School Robotics came in 1^st place in late November out of 20 teams!
Survey- 135 responses, thank you! Will look for parent association to support an invite to discuss the results sometime in February
Upper School Snowball Dance at the Omni Hotel in downtown Providence: January 21^st 7-10pm Tickets Sold at Murray House. Purchase tickets by January 19^th.
