Cost: \$375 per week

The Summer Academic Bridge Program is a personalized experience for each student. It is aimed at non-PCD students so that they can bridge the gap for missed knowledge due to Covid-19.

The Bridge Program is taught by Providence Country Day's committed, involved, and energetic faculty!

Available Content:

Whole numbers, operations with integers, exponents and square roots, fractions and decimals, rates, ratios, proportions, and percents, one variable equations and inequalities, Graph inequalities on number lines, Identify equivalent expressions, Understanding integers, Rates and ratios, Word Problems, Graph triangles and quadrilaterals, intro to geometry, etc.

Whole numbers, all operations with integers, fractions & decimals, exponents and square roots, Multi-step problems with: Rates, Ratios, Proportions, and Percents, one variable equations and inequalities, Graph solutions and 2-step inequalities on number lines, Identify equivalent expressions, Understanding integers, Rates and ratios, Word Problems, Graph triangles and quadrilaterals, intro to the coordinate plane and geometry, etc.

Graph a line from an equation in slope-intercept form, Pythagorean Theorem, Operations with integers, Problem solving, Coordinate plane, Rational numbers, Exponents and roots, Scientific Notation, Percents, Solving 1-, 2-, and multi-step equations

Algebra 1
Numbers and operations, rates, ratios & percents, coordinate plane, expressions and equations, Solving 1-, 2-, and multi-step equations, solving complex equations, graphing inequalities, absolute value, relations and functions, linear functions, systems of equations and inequalities, exponents and scientific notation, monomials, polynomials, factoring, intro to quadratic equations.

Algebra 2
Expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, systems of equations and inequalities, factoring, quadratic functions, polynomials, complex numbers, radical functions and equations, rational exponents, operations of functions, trigonometry, logarithms, circles, ellipses, and hyperbolas.

Geometry
Points, lines, segments, planes, angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, the coordinate plane (lines in the coordinate plane), triangles and other 2-dimensional figures, 3-dimensional figures, logic, transformations, congruent and similar figures, quadrilaterals, right triangles, trigonometry, area and perimeter, surface area and volume, circles.

PreCalculus
Functions, quadratic functions, polynomials, Rational/Exponential/Logarithmic Functions, roots and radical exponents, systems of equations/inequalities, trigonometry, trig functions, trig identities, conic sections, real and complex numbers.
