PCD is thrilled to welcome three new members to our Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees, made up of PCD and HBS alumni, current parents and alumni parents, is tasked with the responsibility of providing strategic guidance to PCD’s school administration and serves as the school’s greatest champions and cheerleaders. We are so very fortunate to have these new representatives of both the PCD and HBS communities joining our Board for this school year.

Dr. Antonio (Tony) Capone Jr. ’76, HBS Alumnus
Dr. Capone completed his undergraduate and medical school training at Brown University, eventually joining the Emory Eye Center faculty and rising to the rank of tenured Associate Professor. He is currently a partner at Associated Retinal Consultants (ARC) in Royal Oak, MI, Professor of Ophthalmology at Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine, and serves as Chief Clinical Officer for EyeCare Partners - the nation’s largest clinically integrated eyecare provider.

Arnold Kee ’84, HBS Alumnus Arnold Kee, a graduate of both PCD and HBS, is currently the Director of Education Data at the US Green Building Council. After PCD, he attended Tufts University and graduated with a degree in political science in 1988. He also obtained a nonprofit executive certificate from Georgetown University. Arnold has published articles focused on educational access and African American culture and started a YouTube channel to host interviews on intersections between those topics.

Sandra Martin, Current Parent Sandra is parent to one PCD alum, Ben Cross ’17, and one current student, Ripley Pereira ’23. She has a BFA from Sweet Briar College and has worked for her family’s company, Brahmin, in marketing, sales and as Head Designer. More recently Sandra has been involved serving marginalized communities through non-profit organizations. In January 2019, she launched Aleppo Sweets, LLC, an experiential Syrian Cafe in partnership with two resettled Syrian Refugees. In 2020 Sandra designed the interior and exterior concept of her husband’s new venture, Aguardente, a Portuguese/Guatemalan tapas bar in Providence.

We welcome all three new trustees and look forward to working together over the coming months!
