Young PCD Alums Living the NFL Dream

If you are watching the New England Patriots play the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, keep an eye out for two PCD alums - both Pat Rock '09 and Marquis Harper Jr. '13 now work in the NFL. Rock, as an assistant athletic trainer with the Browns, and Harper as a content producer with the Patriots.

Harper began taking photos and video of his college football team at Sacred Heart University after an injury left him unable to play."To stay involved with the team, I picked up a camera and started recording on the sidelines and began making videos. I then learned a little more about photoshop and graphic editing and really enjoyed the work and knew this could be a potential career." Harper started as the social media producer with the Patriots in 2018, a job he describes as a "dream come true."

Rock began his career with the Cleveland Browns as a summer intern while studying in graduate school at Seton Hall University. "I obtained the internship after being introduced to one of the assistant athletic trainers for the Cleveland Browns at NATA, the National Athletic Training Conference." After graduating, he was offered a seasonal internship position and shortly after promoted to an assistant athletic trainer in 2017. "I enjoy my job every day."
