A 1923 Scholar candidate demonstrates consistent academic excellence, strong character, commitment to extracurricular, club and/or community service activities, and a capacity to contribute as an engaged citizen at The Providence Country Day School.
A qualified candidate will demonstrate commitment to academic achievement and excellence as reflected in classroom grades, teacher comments, and standardized test scores (SSAT or ISEE).
To ensure a fair process, the children of PCD administration, faculty, staff and Board of Trustees are not eligible for these scholarships.
How to Apply
- Submit an application for admission by February 1.
- Submit a 1923 Scholar Nomination Form by February 15.
- Submit the Scholar Project by February 15.
Demonstrate, through the medium of your choice, how one of The Providence Country Day core values expresses who you are. The core values are: Commitment and Participation, Diversity, Hard Work, Honesty, Intellectual Curiosity, Respect, and Teamwork. Written submissions should not exceed 300 words. Audio and video submissions should not exceed three minutes. Portfolios should not exceed 10 pages.
